Straight from an acclaimed premiere at Brighton this summer, this musical tells the tragic story of Alan Turing – mathematical genius and World War Two hero who broke Germany’s 'Enigma' codes at Bletchley Park but was prosecuted for homosexuality in 1952. He died tragically in 1954 at the age of 41 of cyanide poisoning and was pardoned in 2013.
Set in the form of Christ’s Passion, the show reveals the true love of Turing’s life – his brilliant schoolfriend Christopher Morcom, who died when he was only 19.
Caitlin Downie will play the role of Joan Clarke.
